I am an assistant professor in theoretical particle physics at the University of Milano Bicocca. Previously, I have been a SNF Ambizione Fellow at the University of Zürich and I held postdoctoral research positions at the University of Milano Bicocca and at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. I obtained my DPhil at the University of Oxford after completing my bachelor and master studies at the University of Milan.
My research interests mostly focus on how to develop our knowledge of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD), the theory which describes the interactions of quarks and gluons and the processes by which they bind to form hadrons, such as the protons circulating at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, Geneva.
